Vice-champions of Russia won silver at the ISU tournament in ice dancing

Silver medalists of the last Russian championship in ice dancing Vasilisa Kaganovskaya and Maxim Nekrasov took second place at the international tournament of the Challenger series in Almaty - the Denis Ten Memorial.

In total, for rhythm dance and free dance, they received 187.20 points.

The Finns won Yulia Turkkila and Matthias Versluis (191.32), the Americans Caroline Green and Michael Parsons (180.37).

Russians Irina Khavronina and David Narizhny took fourth place (179.04), Anna Shcherbakova and Egor Goncharov - sixth (169.77).

The International Skating Union (ISU) allowed Russians to participate in their competitions in a neutral status, but so far they have a limited number of quotas for major tournaments due to the lack of rating points.

The ISU Challenger Series is an international figure skating competition series that has been held under the auspices of ISU since 2014. It serves as an intermediate link between ordinary international starts and the Grand Prix series.
