Russian figure skater Dikidzhi wins gold at Denis Ten Memorial
The Russians occupied the entire pedestal: the second was Gleb Lutfullin, the third – Peter Gumennik
Russian figure skater Vladislav Dikidzhi took first place at the international tournament of the Challenger series in Almaty – the Denis Ten Memorial.
In total, for the short and free program, he received 312.79 points.
The Russians took the whole pedestal. The second was Gleb Lutfullin (277.23), the third - Peter Gumennik (261.76).
On September 5, Dikiji won the Challenger Series tournament in Tokyo, which was the first international start for adult Russian skaters since his suspension. He was invited to the ISU Grand Prix stage in Shenzhen, China.
Earlier, at the Denis Ten Memorial, Alexander Ignatov (before marriage - Trusov) won in women's singles skating, and Vasilisa Kaganovskaya and Maxim Nekrasov became second in ice dancing.
The International Skating Union (ISU) allowed Russians to participate in their competitions in a neutral status, but so far they have a limited number of quotas for major tournaments due to the lack of rating points.
The ISU Challenger Series is an international figure skating competition series that has been held under the auspices of ISU since 2014. It serves as an intermediate link between ordinary international starts and the Grand Prix series.
