Bayern Munich in the guest match of the fifth round against Augsburg missed the fastest goal in the history of the Bundesliga, Opta reports.

Augsburg midfielder Robin Fellhauer distinguished himself already in the eighth second of the meeting after a gross mistake by Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.

Seconds after the start of the game, the 41-year-old tried to play the ball 30 metres from his goal but hit Felhauer, who intercepted him and struck an empty goal.

The previous record was nine seconds. He was shared by Karim Bellarabi (Bayer; August 23, 2014 against Borussia Dortmund and Kevin Folland (Hoffenheim; August 22, 2015 against Bayern).
