Verstappen wins Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix qualification

Dutch Red Bull driver Max Verstappen became the winner of the Singapore Grand Prix qualification, the 17th in the season stage of the Formula 1 championship.

The 29-year-old four-time Formula 1 champion won second of the season (and in a row) and 50th career pole.

The second result was shown by Monegasque Charles Leclair (Ferrari), the third was his teammate seven-time Formula 1 champion British Lewis Hamilton.

In the overall standings, Italian Andrea Kimi Antonelli has 325 points, in second place his teammate George Russell (236), in third place Hamilton (221). Verstappen occupies only the sixth place (163).

The Singapore Grand Prix race will be held on October 11, starting at 15:00 GMT.
