Russian Khariton Agrba won the temporary world title according to the World Boxing Association (WBA) in the first welterweight, defeating compatriot Zaur Abdullayev in Yekaterinburg.

The fight in the RCC Boxing Promotions tournament lasted all 12 rounds, Agrba won by a separate decision of the judges.

On account of 30-year-old Agrba 18 wins and one defeat in the professional ring. In amateurs, he was the silver medalist of the 2019 European Games.

The 32-year-old Abdullayev has 21 wins and three defeats.

The main belt of the WBA in the first welterweight is owned by American Teofimo Lopez.
