Verstappen won the race for the first time in Singapore. Second finished Leclerc, third – the leader of the championship Antonelli, several times violating the rules during the distance
Four-time Formula 1 champion Max Verstappen of Red Bull won the Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix for the first time. This is his second consecutive win of the season.
Verstappen started from pole position, for him it was the 250th race in Formula 1.
Second finished Charles Lecleri (Ferrari), third – the leader of the championship Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes), several times violated the rules during the distance.
The top 10 included: Lando Norris (McLaren, 4th), Oscar Piastrie (McLaren, 5th), Lewis Hamilton (Ferrari, 6th), Liam Lawson (Racing Bulls, 7th), Nico Hulkenberg (Audi, 8th), George Russell (Mercedes, 9th), Isak Hajar (Red Bull, 10th).
Early Grand Prix was completed by Gabriel Bortoleto (Audi), Franco Colapinto (Alpine), Lance Stroll (Aston Martin).
Antonelli increased the gap in the standings of the drivers from Russell to 102 points. In the Contractors Cup, Mercedes (578) leads, ahead of Ferrari by 134 points.
The next race will be held on October 25 in Austin, Texas.
