Russian judokas lost to the Japanese team tournament final
The Russians lost in the final with the score 1-4. In total, the Russian team took six medals at the tournament - gold, silver and four bronzes

The Russian judo team completed the World Cup in Baku, winning a silver medal in the team tournament.
On the way to the final, the Russians defeated the teams of the UAE (4–1), South Korea (4–0), France (4–3) and Uzbekistan (4–3), and in the final lost to the Japanese with the score 1–4.
In the final round, the point of the national team was brought only by Tamerlan Basayev, Madina Taimazova, Egor Andoni, Daria Rechkalova and Irina Zueva also played for the team.
In total, in Baku, the Russian team took six medals - gold (Inal Tasoev), silver (team) and four bronzes (Taimazova, Sabina Gilyazova, Maria Ivanova and Niyaz Bilalov).
At the same time, the women's team showed the best result during the performances at the world championships, winning three bronzes.
