The position of sports director of Lokomotiv was taken by Nariman Akavov

Lokomotiv Moscow appointed Nariman Akavov as sports director. This was reported by the press service of the football club.

In this position, Nariman Akavov replaced Dmitry Ulyanov. On September 25, Lokomotiv, by mutual agreement of the parties, terminated the contract with him.

There are a lot of promising, interesting players, as well as young Russian players, and the team just needs spot strengthening, which will allow it to strengthen and replace the departed leaders who left the club during the current calendar year. But in general, Lokomotiv is a very interesting, young, strong and very promising Russian team, Akavov said.

The previous place of work of Nariman Akavov was the capital “Dynamo”, where he led the selection department and was the main scout of the club. He also served as the chief scout in the capital "Spartacus".

Lokomotiv with seven points after nine rounds of the Russian Premier League takes 14th place in the standings. In the next match, the team on the road will play against Voronezh Torch.
