“Now I need to think about my career in the long run. Therefore, I will do everything possible to return 100% ready, the first racket of the world said in a video posted on his Instagram page (owned by Meta, which is recognized as extremist and banned in Russia).

The 25-year-old will miss the masters in Shanghai and Paris, as well as the ATP Finals in Turin. The last time the Italian went on the court on July 12: in the final of Wimbledon he beat the German Alexander Zverev. Due to injury, Yannick Sinner did not perform at the US Open and at the "masters" in Montreal and Cincinnati. According to Corriere dello Sport, he was diagnosed with extra-articular inflammation of the knee tendon.

The Italian has 29 ATP singles titles. He is a five-time Grand Slam winner and two-time ATP Finals champion.
