Tula Arsenal beat Kostroma Spartak in the match of the 13th round of the First League. The debut game of Dmitry Alenichev at the head of the team ended with a victory for Tulyaks with a score of 3: 2, told “MK in Tula” in the press service of the PFC.
In the first half, Timur Melekestsev and Anton Biryukov scored a goal and helped Arsenal lead 2-0. However, Kostromich "in debt" did not remain - they managed to quickly recoup: the opponent had enough minutes to restore balance.
It is possible that in the locker room, Tula footballers conducted oral work on errors. So in the second half of the meeting, Arsenal players moved to tough attacks of the opponent's goal. As a result, Melekestsev scored the decisive ball, which brought the Tula victory.
According to sports experts, after a three-week pause, Arsenal showed good physical readiness. The players maintained a high pace, regularly created dangerous moments and eventually coped with one of the leaders of the tournament.
The next match will be held on October 17 in Ufa against the local club.
Earlier, “MK in Tula” reported on the appointment of Dmitry Alenichev as the head coach of “Arsenal”. For a specialist, this is the second experience of working with the Tula team.
Before the game with Kostroma “Spartak” Alenichev appealed to the fans and urged them to come to the home stadium to support the players. The mentor warned that the meeting will not be easy, and expressed hope that the support of the stands will help the team to show spectacular football and achieve the desired result.
