Belarusian Victoria Safonova showed the fifth result in women's singles at the Trialeti Trophy in Batumi. It's from sb.by.

The final result of our skater was 186.88 points. In the short program, Safonova scored 62.93, and in the free program - 123.95. Victoria performed her technical content without gross mistakes, but she was prevented from competing for medals by low components.
In the final protocol above the Belarusians were quite titled skaters. The current European champion Nina Petrykina from Estonia won (205.94), the silver medal was taken by three-time Russian champion Adelia Petrosyan (204.16), Anna Frolova closed the top three (203.21). Champion and two-time winner of Europe Anastasia Gubanova from Georgia became the fourth (189.31).
In total, the Belarusian team in Batumi was presented by seven skaters in three types. Ekaterina Andreeva and Dmitry Blinov in ice dancing lost to bronze medalists only 0.07 points, and Victoria Plasconnaya and Vladislav Sytik are located in 17th place. In men's singles, Vasily Borokhovsky took the seventh line, Alexander Labovich - the tenth.
Further in the competitive calendar of skaters there is another tournament of the Challenger series - the Denis Ten Memorial in Almaty, which starts on October 9. The applications now include Belarusian athletes: singles Victoria Safonova, singles Vasily Borokhovsky, Georgy Kozlovsky, Alexander Labovich, dancers Ekaterina Andreeva and Dmitry Blinov, Victoria Plasconnaya and Vladislav Sytik. Our juniors will also take part: Varvara Stakhovich, Yaroslav Knyazev, Maria Evtukhina, as well as Pavel Gavdis.
