More than 300 strongmen will gather in Tula for the CFD championship in powerlifting

From November 2 to 8, the championship and championship of the Central Federal District in powerlifting will be held in Tula. Veterans of sports over 40 who will take part in interregional competitions will also come to the venue, the press service of the relevant ministry told MK in Tula.

In total, more than 300 athletes of different age categories are expected. They will compete in several disciplines: triathlon, classic triathlon, press and classic press.

The competitions will be held in the sports and recreation complex "Armsman" at the address: Tula, Kutuzov Street, 30.

Earlier, “MK in Tula” reported on the success of Tula athlete Nadezhda Tumasova at the Asian Powerlifting Championship in Istanbul. The representative of the sports school of the Olympic reserve “Youth” performed in the weight category up to 76 kilograms in the discipline “classic press”. The result of 77.5 kilograms earned her a gold medal.
