Dynamo Minsk continues to balance on the edge of the playoff zone. After 12 games, the team has 13 points, and this before yesterday's matches meant sixth place in the Western Conference. Given the high density in the standings - certainly not a reason for complacency. It is gratifying that Dynamo is leading the league in the realization of the numerical advantage - 44%, 16 goals in 36 attempts. The nearest persecutor, SKA, has a 35% excess sales.

Most of Dynamo Minsk is an anomaly. How can you play the majority like that? Is it not a miracle at all? – asks the commentator of “KHL TV” Artem Batrak. They didn’t play Sam Enas a couple of games and they scored nothing. Nicolas Obe-Kubel got injured - and without him they also throw. The crews change, but everything comes anyway.

Such statistics are an absolute compliment to the staff of Sergey Brylin. But what to do with the game in overtime and bullit series, it seems, in “Dynamo” has not yet decided. With Nizhny Novgorod for the second time in the season, and only in the championship for the fifth time, the game of Minsk did not have time to end in regular time, and each time in the end it ended in defeat: three times lost in the bullies, twice in the game 3x3.

- How can this be explained? — asked Sergey Brylin at a press conference on Monday.

- I don't know. Must be bad luck somewhere. Sotishvili hit the barbell - it is already close. We are working on this element in training. So we need to pay even more attention to that. Maybe somewhere to give clear indications of some strengths and weaknesses of the goalkeeper, against whom we play.

Dynamo Minsk will hold the next match at its site with St. Petersburg SKA on October 8. The leading Magnitogorsk Metallurg in the Eastern Conference yesterday unexpectedly suspended head coach Andrei Razin from work. It is noted that the acting head coach appointed Vladimir Vorobyov.

- Is there really a conflict between the players and the coach? – asked yesterday the d-rector of the club Alexei Zhloba.

Andrey Razin. The in-team situation is really being discussed and we are not going to hide it. There were disagreements between the head coach and the players both on game issues and on the nature of interaction. This is a normal practice of professional sports: the coach has the right to determine the requirements for players, the players have the right to express their position. The problem arose when these differences ceased to be resolved within the team and began to affect the working climate. The club took that into consideration and intervened. This is not a final verdict, but a management decision that allows us to stop the escalation and assess the situation without external pressure.

Earlier, Razin made several harsh statements during press conferences. In particular, speaking about forward Vladimir Tkachev, Razin said that “will not blow his ass.” Later, the coach reacted emotionally to the criticism of the team, recalling the leadership of Metallurg in the Eastern Conference: Where are we going in the East now? First! So fuck everybody.

Igor Gorbenko. Togliatti Lada, who suffered 11 defeats in 12 matches at the start of the championship, was the first of the KHL clubs to replace the head coach: Pavel Zubov was dismissed, and Igor Gorbenko became acting. It is noteworthy that both specialists are associated with Belarusian hockey. Gorbenko previously worked in the coaching staff of Dynamo Minsk. He joined the team in December 2024 and left the club on 19 February 2026. In his area of responsibility were the actions of the team in attack and the game in the majority. Pavel Zubov from 2008 to 2014 worked in the system of Zhlobin Metallurg.
