Gomel defeated Mogilev and rose to second place in the table of the Belarusian hockey championship

In one of the four matches on Friday, October 9, in the national hockey championship, Gomel defeated Mogilev at a party - 3: 2. The team of Vladimir Kopaty extended the winning streak to three meetings and rose to second place in the table, reports sb.by.

The guests scored Maxim Kunishnikov (17th minute), Nikita Anokhin (52) and Evgeny Sapelnikov (60), and the owners of the ice scored a scoring double made Evgeny Solomonov (18, 29).

The extraliga tournament table is headed by Metallurg, which has 16 points. Next are Gomel (16), Brest (16), Slavutich (16), Shakhtar (15), Dynamo (14), Lida (13), Vitebsk (13), Aviator (11), Neman (9), Mogilev (8), Lokomotiv (7), Youth (3) and Chemist (3).

In the regular season, all teams will play 52 matches. According to the results of the stage of the six strongest squads qualify for 1/4 finals. Participants who finish in places from seventh to tenth will contest two more playoff vouchers in the qualifying round in series to two wins. The playoffs will begin on March 10 and end no later than April 23. At each stage - quarterfinal, semifinal and final - the fight will be fought up to four victories.

Most often in the championship of Belarus in hockey won the Minsk “Youth”, which has 11 trophies. Also in the three most titled teams of the tournament include Grodno “Neman” (7) and Zhlobin “Metallurg” (5).
