In Elista, a working meeting was held on the organization of the upcoming hockey championship “Jungar Cup”. The event was held by the head of the Republic of Kalmykia Batu Hasikov. The participants of the meeting approved the competition rules and agreed on a number of innovations that will come into force in the new season.
The key change will be a significant expansion of the tournament. If last season only four teams fought for the main trophy, now nine teams will take part in the regular championship. Among them are Dynamo, Dynamo-2, Spartak, SKA, KSU team, Small Derbets, Elista, Harada and Aranzal. Thus, the scale of the competition will increase significantly.
