Lokomotiv-Kuban lost to CSKA Moscow with a score of 84:87 in a guest match of the regular championship of the United League. After the first half of the meeting, the Krasnodars were behind by 14 points, but in the final quarter they narrowed the gap to three points.

The match ended with a score of 87:84 in favor of the army (27:23, 27:17, 16:19, 17:25). The most productive player of the meeting was CSKA basketball player Melo Trimble, who scored 23 points. Lokomotiv-Kubani has the most points on the account of Travelyn Queen - 21.

Quin called the game difficult and noted that the Krasnodar team allowed the opponent to create too large a gap. In his opinion, it is difficult to recoup against a team with such an understanding, so it is necessary to join the game from the first minutes.

In the last attack, Quinn decided to throw through Trimble as, according to scout reports, the defender is not considered CSKA's strongest defensive player. However, in this episode, the army basketball player successfully stopped the attack of the Krasnodar. Quin admitted that the opponent worked well in defense and expressed confidence that the teams will meet again this season.

Every team is determined to win, regardless of the opponent. It means we have to work even harder and get better every day because our goal is to win the championship.

The next match Krasnodar will hold on October 14 at home against Saratov “Avtodor”. On the same day, CSKA will play away from Vladivostok Dynamo.

Earlier, Lokomotiv-Kuban defeated Krasnoyarsk Yenisei with a score of 81:66.
