The Russian Cup in daily running for the first time was held in Vologda

In the sports complex "Vityaz" in the regional capital, several sports competitions were held: the tenth supermarathon "Autumn Equinox", the Vologda region Cup in daily running for 10 and 100 km, the Cup of Russia in running for 24 hours. In Vologda, such competitions were held for the first time. Athletes from 22 regions of the country visited the city.

In the Cup of Russia Vologda region was represented by eight runners from Cherepovets. In the run for 24 hours, the victory was won by Kamila Shamsutdinova from Tatarstan, who ran 613 laps, Alexander Moedo from Yakutia – 652 laps. The team of our region took third place.

At the Vologda region Cup, first place was taken by Ekaterina Azarova from the Moscow region and Yuri Shadrin from St. Petersburg.
