Cristiano Ronaldo's mother called unfair treatment of her son
Dolores Aveiro, the mother of Cristiano Ronaldo, considers the treatment of his son in Portugal unfair.

Dolores Aveiro, the mother of Cristiano Ronaldo, spoke about the situation around her son, calling the treatment of him in Portugal unfair. In her opinion, over the years of his career, the footballer has done a lot for the country and for the national team. The words Aveiro quotes the newspaper A Bola with reference to the magazine TV7 Dias.
The reason for her comment was Ronaldo’s demarche: he left the national team early in the middle of the training camp. The footballer himself explained this by the fact that the head coach of the team Georges Jesos twice did not keep his promises.
“I am sad, that is normal. It was a shock - my son could have walked out the main door and instead walked out the back. But don't worry, God will take care of everything. I cried a little. It's a good thing I let go. I told him to calm down, but he did what he did. He did a lot for Portugal. He has always been a hero of Portugal, but he is not appreciated as he should be.
Ronaldo played the opening match of the new season of the Nations League against Wales (1: 0), after which he remained in reserve for the game with Norway (2: 1). According to his own words, initially he was not supposed to go out in that meeting, but the coach asked him to be ready to play 30 minutes and sent him to warm up - but in the end he never released on the field.
After the match, Jesos had to explain the situation at a press conference, but he did not.
Then events developed rapidly. The newspaper O Jogo reported that Ronaldo intends to end his career in the national team. Then CNN Portugal clarified that the player will not play for the team while it is headed by Jesos.
Later, Ronaldo himself denied the intention to leave the national team, saying that he remained available for a challenge - but after the federation applied disciplinary punishment to him.
According to the regulations of the Portuguese Football Federation, for unauthorized departure from the location of the team, the player faces suspension from matches for the national team for a period of one to six months and a fine of 500 to 1000 euros. Ronaldo said he was prepared to receive the punishment he deserved.
Ronaldo is 41. He is a five-time Champions League winner, European champion and two-time Nations League winner. He owns records for the number of goals in the history of football, in national teams, in European championships, the Champions League and club world championships.
Since December 2022, he has played for Saudi Al-Nasr, and previously defended the colors of Portuguese Sporting, English Manchester United, Spanish Real Madrid and Italian Juventus. In total, Ronaldo scored 979 goals in his career: 146 for the national team and 833 at club level.
A famous football player was sentenced to two years for forging a COVID certificate.
"I have nothing more to say." Jesos commented on Ronaldo's statement.
