The youth of the Voronezh Torch at home beat Chertanovo

On October 9, the championship of the Youth Football League (Division “A”) resumed in Voronezh. After a pause related to the games of national teams, the matches of the 25th round were held. At the Lokomotiv stadium, the reservists of Torch took the Moscow Chertanovo and achieved a victory with a score of 2: 1 (1: 1).

Before the break, the Voronezh team was in a difficult position. She massively lost to CSKA - 1: 6, having suffered the 17th defeat in the season-2026. With 13 points, Torch-M occupied the last, 16th place, behind the saving 14th line by six points. Guests approached the tour with a more optimistic mood: Chertanovo-M defeated Dynamo 4: 2, interrupted a series of three defeats, scored 23 points and rose to 12th place.

The first dangerous moment came in the 15th minute. Guest defender Ilya Pushkin struck from the rebound in the penalty area, but he lacked accuracy. Soon the hosts replied: Murad Kasimov after the filing of Roman Sizintsev with a corner head hit the crossbar.

In the 24th minute, Torch-M opened the scoring. In the bustle at the gate of the guests, the ball was at Ruslan Plaksin, and he struck past the goalkeeper at the bottom - 1: 0. However, the advantage of Voronezh lasted only eight minutes. Before the break, the teams exchanged dangerous attacks. Daniil Dolya could bring the hosts forward again, but his shot from 16 meters did not become difficult for the goalkeeper. In the 82nd minute, Chertanovo-M remained in the minority: Sayan Dorzhiev did not hold Patkovich, who went one-on-one, broke the rules and received a red card for a foul of last hope.
