About 800 runners from 8 regions came to the “Autumn Relay” in Tula

In the Central Park named after P. P. Belousov in Tula, the athletics race “Autumn Relay” was held. At the start came about 800 fans of running from 8 regions of the country.

Participants covered the distances of 400 meters, 700 meters and 4.2 kilometers, and also tried their forces in the team relay of 5 to 4.2 kilometers.

The youngest runner was 4 years old, the most experienced - 82 years old. At the finish line, each athlete received a commemorative medal.

Regular holding of such mass competitions and involving people in physical education is one of the tasks of the national project “Long and active life”.

Earlier, MK in Tula reported that the regional center hosted the championship of the region in sports acrobatics, it was attended by about 250 athletes from the Tula and Moscow regions, as well as Moscow. They competed in women, men and mixed pairs, groups and individual freestyle exercises, winners and prize-winners were awarded medals and diplomas.
