In the 24th round of the Belarusian football championship BETERA-High League, ML Vitebsk defeated Gomel, Naftan left the last line in the table thanks to the victory, Dynamo Minsk defeated Dnipro with great difficulties. The correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency sums up the results.
Gomel - ML Vitebsk
"Gomel" in his native walls could not give a fight to one of the leaders of the table - "ML Vitebsk". And so disappointed his fans that they began to leave the stands 20 minutes before the final whistle. By that time the score was 1:4 in favor of the hosts. Let’s say that the southerners did not have enough concentration at the beginning of the meeting – within five minutes they missed twice. Next, the team revived the intrigue, netting one ball from a penalty (1: 2). However, in the second half, the reigning champion gave the hosts a real bash. The author of the fifth ball against Gomel, Mark Bulanov, immediately after the goal, swung across the fences at the edge of the field and found himself in the company of the club fans who came to support ML Vitebsk. During the victory dance, one of the fans put his cap on the attacker. We add that the new headquarters of bookmakers from Spain, led by Juan Diaz, watched the game from the stands. So far, specialists have not received a work permit in Belarus. The team was led by physical training coach Sergey Alekseev.
According to the head coach of Gomel Andrey Gorovtsov, his wards allowed the opponent too much. At the beginning of the match, the team missed twice, and with such a handicap to play against ML Vitebsk is difficult. In the first half, the southerners leveled the position, scored a goal, but in the second they missed simple goals. The mentor added that the opponent has quality players who performed well.

If Naftan continues in the same spirit, it will be able to keep a residence permit in the elite division.
Dynamo (Minsk) – Dnipro
Dynamo Minsk was extremely difficult to win over the Dnieper. It didn't look like there was an outsider on the field and one of the leaders. Mogilev residents looked presentable and in many components surpassed their counterparts. But we gave in. Minskers should thank the tandem of Yevgeny Malashevich and Karen Vardanyan, as well as goalkeeper Ivan Shimakovich. The team at the not the most expressive game scored three times and missed twice. But this circumstance did not confuse the head coach Alexander Shagoiko:
- Probably, on such a field, some meaningful game could not happen - the rain spoiled the lawn. Overall, the way the match went was probably good. At this stage, the result is more important than a meaningful game. And when we show a very meaningful game, we lose points for some reason.
"Vitebsk" - "Isloch"
One of the contenders for the medal, “Isloch”, could not win at a party “Vitebsk”. The teams made a bet on defense and did not miss (0: 0). Not everything worked out in the attack. On the other hand, the northerners demonstrate a quality game against the leaders - a draw with Dynamo Minsk (1: 1), a victory over ML Vitebsk (2: 1). The steering team Sergey Gurenko said that his wards were a little closer to success. They got good combinations, but lacked the last pass at the end, the final shot.
Minsk - Torpedo-BELAZ
Minsk in the first part of the championship was famous for successful games against equal and weaker opponents. But in the last two rounds, the team lost - first to Belshina (0: 2), and now torpedo-BELAZ (0: 1). Both opponents are lower in the table. In the match with the Zhodina club, the capital team lacked the realization of moments.
- If you evaluate the team’s game by the result, then negatively, there are good and bad moments, said Minsk head coach Artem Chelyadinsky. We had a good first half, except for the standard position where Guthor helped us out. And so they brought themselves a goal due to an error that led to a penalty. There were opportunities and opportunities, especially in the first half. Unfortunately, they could not implement the created moments.
