Swimmers from Chechnya won two medals at all-Russian competitions

In St. Petersburg, on the basis of the Nevskaya Wave Aquatics Center, the first stage of the All-Russian swimming competitions Mad Wave Challenge 2026 was held, uniting about 600 athletes from 29 regions of Russia and Belarus.

As a result of this tournament, athletes from Chechnya won two silver medals. The Ministry of Sport of the region said that Abdul-Malik Dadashev took second place at the distance of 100 m in complex swimming among boys 10-11 years old. Maxim Belik received the award for second place in the 100 m back swim among 9-year-old boys.

In addition, Basayev Assad and Sadikov Said-Ahmed for the first time fulfilled the norm of the III sports category.

Earlier it was reported that jockeys from the KCR took gold and silver at the races in Grozny.
