On October 3-4, a marathon was held in Nizhny Novgorod for the sixth time, which gathered 5,000 participants. The event was held with the support of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, the regional Ministry of Sport, the city administration and the All-Russian Athletics Federation, and the organizer was the League of Heroes.
Assistant of the Department of Physical Culture of Smolensk State University (Smolensk State University) and Master of Sports in Athletics Oksana Gennadyevna Stolyarova won, overcoming the full marathon distance of 42.2 kilometers in 2 hours 45 minutes and 34 seconds.
