The owners of the ice began the meeting with an active onslaught and opened the score already in the 55th second - Raul Akmaldinov scored. Soon, the army was waiting for an annoying failure: the puck after the throw of Maxim Krovyakov ricocheted from the side, fell into the skate goalkeeper Sergey Ivanov and crawled into the net. Head coach of St. Petersburg Andrey Razin reacted instantly - took a timeout and changed the goalkeeper to Artemy Pleshkov.
