President of the NOC of Belarus Viktor Lukashenko held talks with the head of the European Judo Union (EJU) Laszlo Tot. This is reported in the NOC Telegram channel, writes sb.by.

The meeting took place in Baku, where the World Judo Championship kicked off on Sunday, October 4. The parties discussed a number of issues, including the participation of Belarusian athletes, coaches, judges and specialists in projects, seminars and educational programs under the auspices of the European Federation. Special attention was paid to the support of children and youth sports, the statement said.
More than 600 athletes from 93 countries take part in the planetary judo forum. The Belarusian team included Artem Kolosov, Egor Voropaev, Yana Makretskaya and Slavyana Rylkevich. The tournament runs until October 10.
