The Belarusian national football team beat the Finnish team with a score of 1: 0 in the match of the fourth round of the group stage of the League of Nations, which was held in Budapest, where the Belarusians hold home games. The only goal in the 1st minute was scored by Artem Shumansky, and in the 15th minute the Belarusian footballer Zakhar Petrov failed to realize a penalty.
This victory was the second for the national team of Belarus in the current draw of the League of Nations: in the third round, the team defeated rivals from San Marino with a score of 4: 0, and before that lost to the Albanians with a score of 0: 2 and drew with the Finns 0: 0.
In another match of the game day, the Albanian national team beat the San Marino team at home with a score of 2: 1 and thanks to this came to the leaders of the standings with 9 points, while the teams of Belarus and Finland with 7 points and San Marino with 0 points follow. In the next round, the Albanians will host the Finns on November 12, and on the same day the Belarusian national team will play away against the San Marino team.
