Serpukhov track and field athletes distinguished themselves on cross in Chekhov
In Chekhov, competitions in athletics cross of the Moscow region were held for the prizes of the company "Krov Invest". Pupils of the Zubrenok sports school from Serpukhov adequately presented their institution, returning with awards and new sports achievements.
Several young athletes showed high results at once. Varya Makarenko (2015) took second place, and Maxim Sitnikov (2018) and Vasilina Mironets (2015) became bronze medalists in their categories.
Special attention should be paid to the success of Serpukhovich at a distance of 1 km, where a number of pupils fulfilled the standards for assigning sports ranks. Ekaterina Karpova overcame the distance in 3 minutes and 45 seconds - this result was enough to meet the standard of the second sports category. Margarita Kalinkina showed the time of 3 minutes 47 seconds and also fulfilled the second-class standard. Polina Dolonko (4 minutes 4 seconds) fulfilled the standard of the third sports category, as did Miroslav Mironets, who showed the result of 3 minutes 15 seconds.
The remaining members of the team from Serpukhov confirmed their current sports categories and gained valuable competitive experience, important for further growth.
The preparation of athletes for these starts was carried out by experienced mentors - coaches Elena Semichasnova and Andrei Semichasnov. Their methodical work and attention to the individual technique of each pupil became an important component of the overall success of the team.
