Employees of the Serpukhov hospital debuted at the regional Spartakiad
On October 10, the jubilee Spartakiad “Great Races” dedicated to the International Doctor’s Day was held in Dubna. This year, the event gathered a record number of participants - 30 teams of medical institutions in the Moscow region. Serpukhov hospital at the competition was presented by the team “Pirates of Aesculapa”, for which this start was the debut.
A large-scale sports festival brought together doctors from all over the region. The program of the “Big Races” was rich and required universal training from the participants: the teams passed the combined relay, fought in the “Battles of Gladiators” and “Sumo”, took part in the “Ski Races” and the “Corpillar” stage, and also overcame the obstacle course.
For the team of the Serpukhov hospital, called “Pirates of Aesculapa”, this competition was the first experience of this scale. Despite serious competition and excitement, doctors have adequately passed all the tests, demonstrating not only physical training, but also a real team spirit.
To support colleagues came a group of fans led by the chief doctor Ruslan Ibragimov. Their active support helped the team to cope with the excitement and give everything to the maximum.
“I am proud of our colleagues. For the team, it was the first experience of participating in such competitions, and there were 30 teams and many spectators around. But the guys were not lost and showed themselves a bright, friendly and purposeful team. In medicine, a lot is based on mutual assistance and trust, and today we saw the same qualities on the playground. Such events unite the team, give an opportunity to see each other from a new side and recharge energy for future workdays. I thank all the participants and fans for their support and great mood. I am sure this is not our last start, said the chief doctor Ruslan Ibragimov.
The sports festival ended solemnly: fireworks thundered in the sky, and the participants were waiting for a huge cake “Great Races”. Fatigue and tension were replaced by laughter and warm emotions. For Serpukhov hospital, this debut was an important event, confirming that the team is able to achieve high results not only in professional activities, but also in sports.
