Athlete from Cuba joined the volleyball team of Cherepovets “Severyanka”

Volleyball club "Severyanka" from Cherepovets held a press conference. At the event, a new player was introduced - an athlete from Cuba. The girl will play diagonally at number 15. She was handed a T-shirt.

There was also a change of captain. They were Anastasia Lopato from the national team of Belarus. The new leader said that the athletes are well prepared for the new season. Volleyball players are physically strong. There is a friendly atmosphere in the groups. The goal is to repeat the results of last season. The team took players from the super League and the youth team of Russia.

The championship formula has changed. The girls will play 12 games at home and ten on the road. Then there will be a playoff, one-eighth, quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals. Preparations will begin immediately.
