Tomsk rescuer became eight-time world champion in weightlifting

From 5 to 8 October in New Delhi was held the world championship in weightlifting. This was reported by the press service of the EMERCOM of the Tomsk region.

Athletes from 26 countries participated in the competition. Among them was the engineer of the Main Directorate of EMERCOM in the Tomsk region Dmitry Cherkashin.

In the weight category up to 85 kg, he won in two disciplines: long cycle and jerk. Cherkashin became an eight-time world champion.
