Minsk “Dynamo” could not please fans with a victory in the home match of the regular championship of the KHL on October 5. At the “Minsk-Arena” “teeth” took Nizhny Novgorod “Torpedo” and lost to the opponent in a series of post-match bullies – 1: 2, reports the correspondent of the Agency “Minsk-Novosti”.
The meeting was hard. The guests were the first to actively attack, but the goalkeeper of the “chubs” Vasily Demchenko did not allow the opponent to open an account. The teams acted carefully, trying to avoid dangerous moments at their gates.
It seemed that the first period would end without abandoned washers, but the "teeth" managed to distinguish themselves almost before the siren. In the 19th minute forward Sergey Kuznetsov took advantage of the mistake of the Torpedo defender, who lost the puck from under the stick, and sent it into the gate of Nizhny Novgorod. The goal in the locker room allowed Dynamo to go on break with a minimum advantage - 1: 0.

In the second period, the teams increased their speed. Guests began to threaten the gates of Minsk more often. In one of the episodes, forward Vladimir Tkachev got the opportunity to go out one at zero, but he failed to beat Vasily Demchenko. Nevertheless, the pressure of the Nizhny Novgorod people brought results. In the 34th minute, V. Tkachev still achieved his goal and restored his balance - 1: 1. Until the end of the main time, the teams no longer scored, although both sides had the opportunity to win.
The third period was an equal struggle. "Dynamo" and "Torpedo" tried to act as carefully as possible, understanding the cost of error. As a result, neither team managed to tip the scales in their favor.

In overtime, the hosts and guests also did not reveal the winner. Defender “Torpedo” Daniil Zhuravlev sent the puck into the goal of “Dynamo”, but after a video viewing the goal was canceled – the judges recorded the game with a foot.
The fate of the match had to be decided in a series of bullies.
Here luck was on the side of the Torpedo. The winning throw was performed by V. Tkachev, who scored the second puck in the match, and Dynamo failed to realize their attempts. Bottom line is 1:2 on the bullies.

Thus, the Minskers again lost a point in the match with Nizhny Novgorod. It is noteworthy that in September, the teams have already met in Minsk-Arena, and then Torpedo was also stronger in the bullies - 4: 3.
Head coach of “Dynamo-Minsk” Sergey Brylin after the match noted the dedication of the team and admitted that in some episodes of the second period, Minsk allowed “Torpedo” to create too many dangerous moments.

- It was a tough match, quite interesting. The opponent is very mobile, creative, a lot of good performers. We didn’t have enough to get a second point in overtime or bullies. I’m happy with the way the guys played today and how they fought. Most of the match, the guys played exactly as the coaches asked, on assignment, the coach said.
At the same time, the mentor drew attention to the problems that arose in the second period. Several times, the Minskers allowed the opponent to quickly get out of defense into attack and get a numerical advantage in the development of the episode:
- Unfortunately, there were a few moments in the second period where we missed the attacks, which ended in one-to-zero and three-to-one exits. That’s exactly what we were paying attention to. This team has a strong side: they run very quickly from defense to attack and get exits with a numerical advantage.

Separately, S. Brylin explained the episode with the missed puck. According to the coach, the reason was a mistake in the change.
- We missed the goal because we just didn’t focus on the shift. They did not help our defenders, who were already in the attack zone, and so it turned out three in one, the coach explained.
As a result, Dynamo managed to earn one point, but the second point went to Torpedo following a series of bullies.
- Good thing we got one point. Of course, if there were two, it would be better, but what to do, concluded the head coach of Minsk.
