Tula athletes won three medals at the All-Russian tournament in army hand-to-hand combat, which was held on October 3 in Moscow. The competition was dedicated to the memory of D.V. Sablin, and more than 500 fighters from different regions of Russia became participants in the tournament, the press service of the Tula Ministry of Sport told MK in Tula.
Tula region at the tournament was represented by pupils of GUDO TO "Sports School "Center for Adaptive Sports". The athletes performed under the guidance of the coach-teacher for adaptive physical culture Valery Kopichnikov.
According to the results of the fights, Novo Saidov took the first place. The silver medal was won by Pavel Lomintsev, and the bronze medalist was Sergey Madyuzhin.
Earlier, MK in Tula wrote that five Tula athletes won medals at the World Cup final and the World Championship in hand-to-hand combat, which ended on September 28 in Georgia. All representatives of the region, included in the Russian national team, rose to the pedestal.
More than 200 athletes from 21 countries participated in international competitions. Tula hand-to-handers performed in the final of the World Cup and the world championship among juniors and juniors from 18 to 21 years.
