A large-scale sports and mass project “300 Talents for the Queen” on athletics for students of 2-4 grades has been launched in Belarus, the National Educational Portal reports.

The selection traditionally takes place in four stages, and the final will be held in May 2027.
The first stage has already started and will last until November 1. Preliminary testing students pass right at physical education lessons. The test program includes barrier running, ball throwing, endurance running and other exercises.
From November 10 to January 31, 2027, retesting will take place at the sports bases of districts and Minsk. The third round - the control selection - will be held from February 1 to March 31.
The culmination of the project will be the republican final among the national teams of regions and the capital. From May 3 to 7, the finalists will have theoretical and practical classes in the National Children’s Educational and Wellness Center “Zubrenok”. And on May 8, the decisive competitions will unfold at the Republican Center for Olympic Athletics Training.
The organizers are the Ministry of Sport, the Ministry of Education, specialized sports and educational institutions and regional sports centers. Since 2024, the Presidential Sports Club has been the general partner of the project.
