In Chelny will play a ticket to the Hajj at the tournament on koresh

On October 31, in Naberezhnye Chelny, the XVII All-Russian Koresh and Armwrestling Tournament for the Cup of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Tatarstan will be held. The main prize of the competition will be a ticket to the Hajj in 2026, which will be played among the winners in ten weight categories. The organizers expect that the event will bring together the strongest athletes from different regions of the country and will become a significant event in the sports and spiritual life of the republic.

The tournament starts at 10:00 in the sports school of the Olympic reserve "Vityaz" named after M.Sh.Bibishev. In competitions in koresh there are six weight categories: up to 60, 70, 80, 90 and 100 kilograms, as well as over 100 kilograms. In armwrestling, participants will compete in three weight groups: up to 70, up to 85 and over 85 kilograms. Special attention is paid to the category of veterans from 60 years.

Muslims over 18 years of age who regularly perform prayers, have the necessary physical training and medical clearance are allowed to participate. Before entering the carpet, athletes will have to pass a test for knowledge of the rules of reading the prayer. The check will start at 8:00. Participants must wear a sports uniform and skullcap, reflecting both the sporting and spiritual nature of the event.

The event is organized by the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Tatarstan, the Executive Committee of Naberezhnye Chelny, the Federation of Koresh of Russia and Tatarstan, as well as the Naberezhnye Chelny mukhtasibat.
