On October 25, at 12:00, the King of the Arctic-2 tournament will begin on the site of the Leader Children and Youth Center in Naryan-Mar. The main intrigue of the evening will be a semi-professional fight under the rules of MMA.
The octagon will bring together two masters representing different schools and styles. They will spend nine minutes in the cage - three rounds of three minutes. Anyone can apply for participation.
The novelty of the season was two absolute categories - men's and women's, where the fight is conducted without taking into account weight restrictions. Winners in these categories will receive a monetary reward.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) competitions are declared as a separate block of the program in two sections: Gi (in kimono) and No-Gi (without kimono). Fighting takes place on the wrestling carpet. For participants under 16 years of age, the fight time is limited to three minutes, for athletes older – five.
