On the weekend in the Vladimir region will be two major races

On Saturday, October 10, Kovrov for the first time will host a half marathon “City of gunsmiths”. More than a thousand athletes aged 10 to 50 years will start. They will have to overcome distances from 1 to 21 kilometers. Each participant will be given a starting package with a T-shirt and number, and a medal will be awarded at the finish line.

The next day, October 11, Suzdal will host the sixth half marathon “Pearl of the Golden Ring 2026”. This is one of the brightest events of the running season, gathering hundreds of participants from all over the country. The route is laid along the ancient streets of the city-museum along monasteries and temples, which makes the race unique even against the background of the rich running calendar of Russia. This year, there are options for any level of training: children's races for 400 meters, distances of 3, 5 and 10 kilometers, a classic half marathon for 21.1 kilometers and a relay. All finishers will receive commemorative medals, and winners and prize-winners will receive cash prizes.
