Voronezh "Buran" successfully completed the away series, winning over the Khanty-Mansiysk "Ugra" - the current winner of the VHL Cup. The match was intense and emotional.
The fate of the meeting was decided by the only puck: in the 34th minute Egor Goryunov sent her into the opponent’s goal, and this goal brought Buran a victory with a score of 1: 0. After the final siren, Voronezh forward Vladislav Leshchenko was punished with a two-minute fine for talking to referees and unsportsmanlike behavior.
Thanks to this success, the team completes the exit and rises to first place in the standings. After a short respite, Buran will go to another mini-series on the road: on October 21 in Penza he will meet with Diesel, and on October 23 in Saratov with Crystal.
