Voronezh Torch sensationally beat Krasnodar in the Cup of Russia
This victory was the first for the Torch this season

On Tuesday, October 13, Voronezh Torch won a guest victory over Krasnodar with a score of 2: 0 in the match of the group stage of the Cup of Russia. The team was led by Alexey Rebko, a youth coach who temporarily assumed the duties of head coach after the resignation of Oleg Vasilenko.
Before this meeting, the Voronezh team closed the standings of their group. The first half remained for the hosts: they attacked a lot and received the right to a penalty, but the goalkeeper of the guests Igor Obukhov managed to fend off the blow, keeping the gate intact.
In the second half, the game leveled off. In the 69th minute, Abdul Bagamaev opened the scoring, and in the 81st Maxim Turishchev doubled the advantage of the guests, upsetting the goalkeeper of Krasnodar Alexander Koryakin. The hosts tried to recoup to the final whistle, but could not change the result.
This victory was the first for the Torch this season - albeit for now within the Cup.
The next match of the group stage Voronezh team will play at home on October 27 against Akhmat.
Now the club’s management may be faced with the question: is Alexey Rebko the coach who is able to bring the “fire-dangerous” out of the crisis on a permanent basis?
