In the educational colony of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Arkhangelsk region (the village of Talagi, Primorsky district) the project “Football without borders” was launched. He became one of the winners of the grant competition of the Governor of Pomorie, according to the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Arkhangelsk region.
The project is embodied by the team of the autonomous non-profit organization Center for Support of Education, Education and Healthy Lifestyle “World of Good” under the leadership of Roman Evseev. The main goal is to give juveniles serving their sentences a chance to change.
On the field, statuses are erased: there are no “pupils” and “volunteers”, there are only teammates. Together with the guys, the players of the children's club "Barsy" train. They share with teenagers not only the technique of running the ball, but also the spirit of fair fight.
The training process is built according to the rules of big sports: mandatory warm-up, working out tactical schemes, group interaction and game sparring. Students, according to the organizers, strive to improve their skills.
Football Without Borders is much more than physical education. It's working on yourself. Sport teaches discipline, mutual assistance and the ability to make decisions within the rules. For children, this is an opportunity to find an alternative to the usual way of life, to strengthen not only the body, but also the spirit.
Ahead of the participants have a rich program, including away tournaments. The staff of the colony believe that such classes will help teenagers prepare for life outside the institution.
