The corresponding cooperation agreement was signed by representatives of the regional government, the administration of Kirovo-Chepetsk, the management of the sports institution and the company Uralchem.

The investor will finance a large-scale reconstruction of the empty non-residential building, which will be completely refurbished for the comfortable living of young athletes.

Acting Chairman of the Regional Government Mikhail Sandalov noted that this initiative is part of systematic and long-term work.

According to him, the joint efforts of regional authorities and business are aimed at the development of Kirovo-Chepetsk as a comfortable, industrial, sports and attractive city for young people.

The representative of the regional government also stressed that on the eve of the anniversary of Kirovo-Chepetsk in 2025, the volume of financing of important facilities was strengthened, and around city projects it was possible to unite the local business community.

Sandalov expressed special gratitude to Uralchem for its systematic participation in the development of the social sphere of the city and support of its sports potential.

The appearance of its own residential building will significantly expand the set of promising personnel.

At the moment, about 60 pupils from other settlements, mainly from Kirov and various districts of the region, are engaged in sections of Olympia. In addition, young hockey players from other regions of Russia are actively interested in the training base of sports schools.

Andrey Semenyuk, director of the KCHK branch of OHC Uralchem JSC, recalled that the company regularly provides assistance to the Olympia children's hockey school.

This year, a new bus for away matches has already been purchased for young hockey players, and the hostel project will be another key stage in the creation of a modern training base.

The head added that the progress and quality of repair and construction work will be supervised personally to provide children with safe and decent conditions for life and training.

Reconstruction of the facility will begin next year, and it is planned to commission the finished building in 2028.

After the completion of construction work, the management of the sports school will purchase the necessary furniture, household appliances and related equipment for the final equipment of the rooms.
