On Friday, October 9, a football match between the local PFC Arsenal and Kostroma FC Spartak will be held in Tula. Before the game, the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reminded the audience of the need to observe public order and the rules for attending sports competitions.
The Ministry drew attention to the requirements established by the decree of the Russian government of December 16, 2013 No. 1156. The document regulates the behavior of spectators at official sports events and provides for a number of restrictions.
In particular, a person who is prohibited by the court from attending the venues of official sports competitions may be denied entry to the stadium or removed from the venue. This is possible, among other things, with the help of video surveillance systems. In this case, the organizers of the competition or controllers-managers have the right to cancel the ticket without refunding its cost.
In addition, the police reminded about the requirements for support that spectators bring to sports events without prior approval from the organizers.
For violation of the rules of conduct, fans face responsibility under Article 20.31 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. Sanctions provide for a fine of 3 to 10 thousand rubles or mandatory work for up to 160 hours. Also, the court may impose a ban on visiting the venues of official sports competitions for a period of six months to three years.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Tula region urged citizens to follow the established rules during a football match.
