Zaporozhye track and field athletes ran on the "National Cross - 2026" in Smolensk

Athletes of the Zaporozhye region national athletics team took part in the Cross of the Nation in Smolensk. For them it was a good training and a great opportunity to compete.

“Cross of the Nation” turned out to be a really bright holiday. Almost two thousand people took part in it: experienced athletes, young athletes, veterans, and just running fans. It was noisy and fun in the stands - everyone supported the runners, and the participants themselves tried to show the best result and were just glad that they went to the distance.

The main races were held at the stadium of the Smolensk State University of Sports, and the starts were held in different districts of the region. Every year, Cross of the Nation helps people to love sports, start training more often and notice new talented runners. Such holidays show that sport is about everyone: it does not matter how old you are and what level of training you have.
