CBS releases footage of destruction at US bases after Iran attacks

CBS broadcast footage of the devastation at U.S. military bases following Iran's strikes. The pictures were given to journalists by active servicemen.

The footage recorded damage to buildings, aircraft and infrastructure. In particular, at the Prince Sultan air base in Saudi Arabia, a direct hit on a Boeing E-3 Sentry reconnaissance plane was captured, which had its tail section torn off. Photos from Camp Buring Base in Kuwait and other sites show the collapsed barracks and structures. The date when the photos were taken, the channel did not specify.

This is serious damage to our bases that has not been reported to the American public. We stand there with our eyes closed and receive blows to the face, one of the servicemen said.

Iranian strikes hit US facilities in Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Oman and Jordan. In a report published this week by the inspector general of the Pentagon, the loss of equipment during the conflict is estimated at $ 3.7 billion, including 60 aircraft, reminds CBS News.
