The Federal district court in Washington dismissed the criminal case against Russian engineer Denis Postovy, who was accused of supplying electronics to Russia bypassing restrictions. It follows from the court order.

Denis Postovy was detained in September 2024 in Sarasota (Florida). A Florida court arrested him the same month. According to the investigation, he exported microelectronics from the United States through Switzerland, Hong Kong and other countries, which could be used in Russia for the production of UAVs.

In August 2025, the parents of Denis Postovy appealed to Russian President Vladimir Putin with a request to help in the release of his son. In December of the same year, the engineer was deported to Russia, but the charges against him were not dropped.
