The leaders of the French far-right party “National Union” Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardell accused the Russian authorities of hostile actions against France and other European countries. So they reacted to the decree of Vladimir Putin on the transfer of assets of Auchan and Nestle in temporary management.
“This decision, which directly infringes on the interests and rights of our companies, must be strongly condemned,” Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardell said in a joint statement.
The National Association considers the transfer of assets of Auchan and Nestle to temporary management as one of the “hostile actions” and “hybrid operations” from Moscow. The statement also listed a drone incident at Leipzig airport and warnings from European officials "about the risk of escalating operations against states supporting Ukraine.".
“Any operation of this kind must be accompanied by a proportionate response, respecting our laws, national interests and international obligations,” Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella said.
On September 17, Vladimir Putin transferred the Russian assets of Nestle and Auchan to the temporary management of L.E.V. Management. As reported by the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov, the decision on external management was made on the basis that the assets belonged to companies from an unfriendly country.
