“If our Chinese friends take up this, which will certainly require certain efforts and diplomatic preparations, such an initiative will only be welcomed by the Russian side,” Rudenko said.
The APEC summit will be held from November 18 to 19 in Shenzhen. Vladimir Putin will visit it for the first time since 2017. There, the Russian president should hold talks with Xi Jinping.
