After the appeal, the security forces tracked the ship on which Konstantin organized tourist trips. It was discovered near Maprao Island. On board, the police detained the Russian, who told tourists about the sights and provided photography services. The man did not provide a work permit at the request of the security forces.
The Russian was charged with carrying out the activities of the guide without the appropriate permission. The man was taken to Phuket Police Station for further investigation.
