Representatives of the Ministry called the suspension of the search “difficult decision” and noted that notified about it the closest relatives of the missing. The Coast Guard said its team and others surveyed more than 4,400 miles of the coast in 66 hours of searching. For this purpose, aircraft, helicopters, boats and boats were involved.
The day before, search teams found the wreckage of the plane. The flight, owned by Latitude, was on a medical flight from Bermuda to Boston. Gulfstream G100 disappeared from radar on October 3 at about 02:00 local time (09:00 GMT). Four Canadians and two Bermuda nationals were on board. Before the disappearance from radar, a sharp decline was recorded: in just three minutes, the flight altitude decreased from 7.1 to 3.3 km.
