“I am very good in elimination matches. One on one. And then we will see what projects the country has, the Brazilian president said.
In the first round, Bolsonaro scored more than 47%, Lula da Silva – more than 45%. According to the Supreme Electoral Court, 2.3 million fewer people voted for the current president of Brazil. The second round of elections is scheduled for October 25.
“The result is often unexpected. We never get everything we want. I confess that I was sure that I would win the election in the first round. But I thought so before, Lula da Silva said. The Brazilian president called the result of the first round a "lesson of democracy" and urged his supporters to unite. If he wins, Lula da Silva will lead the country for the fourth time.
