Russia has the necessary intelligence capabilities to monitor the situation on the border. This was stated by the press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, commenting on the publications in the media about the transfer of Estonia military units to the Russian border.

“Our defense ministry, other relevant services have the necessary intelligence capabilities,” the Kremlin spokesman said.

According to the Financial Times, as part of the transition to the strategy of “active defense”, the Estonian armed forces are moving to the east, including long-range weapons. A military base for 1,000 soldiers is also being built in Narva.
